Terms of Service

1. Who We Are

These terms govern your use of citedaisearch.com and the services offered on it (together, the "Services"), operated by Cited ("we", "us"). By using the Services you agree to these terms. If you are purchasing on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.

2. The Free Audit and Report

Our audit tool analyzes a website you submit and produces visibility scores and a report of recommended fixes. The audit and the full report are free. You agree to submit only websites you own or are authorized to analyze. Audit results are automated analysis provided for informational purposes; they are our engine's assessment at the time of the scan, not a promise about how any third-party search or AI platform will treat your site.

Providing an email address is required to receive your report. We handle it as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Paid Optimization Services

Our paid packages (Essential, Professional, and Enterprise) are done-for-you implementation services at the fixed prices listed on our pricing page at the time of purchase. Each package's scope, delivery timeline, and score guarantee are as described on that page when you buy.

Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. You may pay a 50% deposit with the balance due on completion, or pay in full up front at the published discount. We never see or store your card details.

Your part. Delivery requires your reasonable cooperation: providing CMS or code access (we never need hosting credentials or database access), answering scope questions, and reviewing deliverables. Delivery timelines begin when we receive the access needed to start, and pause while we are waiting on access or approvals from you.

Guarantee. Each package carries the numeric score guarantee stated on the pricing page, with the remedy described in our Refund Policy. Beyond that guarantee, we do not promise specific rankings, traffic, citations, or revenue: search engines and AI platforms are operated by third parties and change without notice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including: submitting sites you have no authority over, attempting to disrupt or overload the audit tool, scraping the Services, or using them for anything unlawful. We may limit or refuse service to protect the platform or comply with law.

5. Intellectual Property

You own your website and its content, including improvements we implement on it as part of a paid package once paid for. We own the audit engine, our methodology, our site content, and our tooling. Reports we generate for you are yours to use for your business.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The free audit tool is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Paid services are provided with reasonable skill and care and the express guarantee described above; all other warranties are disclaimed to the extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Termination

You may stop using the free Services at any time. Cancellation and refunds for paid packages are handled per the Refund Policy. We may suspend Services that violate these terms.

8. Changes and Contact

We may update these terms; the effective date above changes when we do, and continued use after changes means acceptance. Material changes to paid-service terms will not apply retroactively to packages already purchased.
